Fortsurge special backup protection device for surge (SSD) is connected in series between the power line and the surge protector. It can trip immediately when the power supply fails or the SPD fails and is sho-circuited. It has small current (3A) action characteristics and prevents the surge protector from (SPD) catches fire. At the same time, SSD has high surge withstand capability and can withstand the expected surge current at the SPD installation location to achieve the purpose of safe lightning protection.
Fortsurge SSD has small size, high sensitivity and strong sho-circuit breaking ability. It can be matched with SPD of any specications and models. It adopts a single-chip free assembly structure, which makes pairing and use more exible and achieves peect protection effect.
Features
- Wide range of sho circuit current protection (3A-100kA) ;
- T1 SSD 10/350μs waveform has surge withstand capability up to 50kA;
- T2 SSD 8/20μs waveform has surge withstand capability up to 160kA;
- When a surge occurs, the residual voltage at both ends of the SSD is low, and the device can be
- more safely protected;
- Works peectly with SPD, safely disconnects when SPD fails, and can be reused after triggering.
